Walk Away

True freedom is this: are you willing to walk away?

What if our spiritual freedom means taking our children by the hand and stepping away from the familiar path, leaving behind the entire scaffolding of a life shaped by the expectations of our age? What if it means turning from the systems that once fed, schooled, and sheltered us, yet quietly claimed ownership over our lives? What if it means releasing the names and roles we were handed, the agreements we didn’t realize we had made with Babylon, and the convenient comforts we once mistook for God’s provision?

When Jesus calls us, it is not just to believe him—it is also to leave what doesn’t hold his frequency… To rise and follow Him into a life no system can define, no empire can own, and no counterfeit king can touch.

“Come, Follow Me!”

Leave your nets.

Leave your assets.

Leave your people.

Leave your home.

Leave the city.

Leave the temple.

Leave the way you once lived.

Leave the dead to their fading signal.

At this convergence point in human history—when the mimic system tightens its grip through digital chains, synthetic rhythms, and spiritual counterfeits—the call comes with a new kind of fire that cannot be ignored. The invitation of Jesus is geographical, economic, biological, and spiritual all at once.

It is particular and urgent.

Jesus didn’t beg or persuade or manipulate with emotion. He honoured people’s sovereignty.

He spoke plainly, and people either walked with Him or walked away.

Jesus didn’t soften His words to keep a following. He spoke, and hearts revealed themselves… some rose to walk with Him, and others turned and walked away. The rich young ruler came to Jesus eager for answers, but when Jesus put His hand on the one thing the young man could not imagine losing and said, “Let go,” the man’s face fell and he walked away heavy with grief.

Since I was a child, I wondered what it felt like for that young ruler… to have looked PURE LOVE & FEROCIOUS TRUTH in the actual eyes and yet to have chosen his safe little bundle of familiar treasures, formulas for security and petty ideals instead of the EVER-AND-FOREVER KINGDOM that was designed to make his REAL HEART come alive.

“Missed opportunity” doesn’t quiet capture the moment here.

But there were others—fishermen and tax collectors, weavers and water-bearers, ordinary sons and daughters—who dropped their nets, left their tables, set down their jars, and stepped out of the only life they had ever known, surrendering to the call.

These weren’t reckless dreamers, they were fathers, mothers, providers with real livelihoods, and keepers of their homes. Yet when they had looked upon the One who makes all things whole, they saw through the illusion around them and and chose to follow what was more real.

Because to be saved is to be transferred.

It is to be removed from one dominion and placed under another. This isn’t a touching metaphor, a special pass, or a checklist of beliefs… it’s a jurisdictional reality. And, that transfer takes place only when something is truly forsaken, when the old allegiance is utterly abandoned. There is no entry into the Kingdom without a decisive severing from the counterfeit in the natural realm.

We have now come to the place in the Human Story where this awareness can no longer sit safely inside the walls of churches, sheltered in sermons and study groups. It’s no longer a theory we can discuss at a distance — it has stepped into the street, into our homes, into the choices we make each day as we trundle through the real, elemental decisions of our lives.

In the years ahead, there will be many who, undertandably, try to walk both paths—professing allegiance to Christ while keeping themselves bound to the very systems that despise Him. They will leave their children enrolled in the schools of the system, their names registered, their devices open to constant surveillance, and their loyalties divided between two masters. They will soothe themselves with the thought that it is strategic, that they can carry light into the darkness, that God will understand their position, or that they will never get fully trapped in the net, that they will extract themselves at the last moment if/when necessary… Yet, slowly and quietly, they will come to realize that their lives are being ordered by the very powers they would not relinquish. And it will not be because God turned His face from them, but because they chose to remain inside the machinery they had been shown the way out of.

The early disciples didn’t just pray and host religious meetings in vibey old linen robes.

They left everything behind… all the comfort tethers to their known world—an act of radical, wild, un-believable obedience to the TRUE FREQUENCY OF LIFE. They chose alignement with the True Kingdom over the Mimic.

They walked cities, shook off the dust of content-to-play-it-safe regions, sold their possessions, and left when propmted to flee. Their lives were marked by movement, by detachment from the world’s economy, language, approval, and threats. They were not rescued because they held flawless doctrine. They were rescued because they were grafted into a King whose blood purchased them out of death — and they understood the cost of that exchange. To be joined to Him meant cutting ties with every allegiance to the machinery of death. It meant that nothing in their lives could remain as it was. Everything had to shift, because life had entered where death once reigned.

Jesus isn’t asking for our admiration in a special building or a curated worship playlist. He is asking for our living, breathing allegiance in the daily rhythms of our lives. And allegiance, by definition, means dis-allegiance to everything that opposes Him.

The mimic/matrix/digital ID trap opposes him.

The digital towers rising around us aren’t neutral. The mandates disguised as sustainability and safety are not benevolent. The economy being restructured right now is captivity in slow motion… And anyone who wishes to remain tethered to it while calling themselves free is under a delusion. You cannot claim to trust God while your provision, identity, and security remain tethered to Pharaoh’s storehouses.

There were seasons when God, in His mercy, allowed for half-measures, when He permitted His people to grow quietly with one foot in Babylon, to remain in certain places for a time, and to live in that tension while He worked in the unseen. But we are now crossing a threshold where those old compromises will collapse under their own weight. What once could be delayed will soon demand decision. The in-between ground is eroding beneath our feet, and what we lean on that is not Him will begin to fail us, one piece at a time.

I really want you to understand, that the mimic—Babylon—has no loyalty to those who serve it. Even if you follow its rules to the very edge (comply, go along, agree, accept the terms), it will still turn on you when it suits its purposes. Its system is built on extraction, not covenant, and so when you are no longer useful, it will discard you without hesitation.

Many will wait, hoping to time their exit perfectly, but by the time the betrayal comes, they will be stripped of choice and resources. Walking away earlier (even while afraid) gives you the time to build, to plant, to strengthen your household, and to position yourself in places of life. It may stretch you, cost you, and bring some massive discomfort, but these are challenges you can meet on your feet, rather than crises that crush you when you’re cornered.

If you are wondering what may be required of you in the days ahead, just start with this: where have your feet not yet moved, even though you have long felt the pull in your heart? Where have you sensed God’s prompting but delayed the step, telling yourself the timing wasn’t right or the cost was too high? What have you been holding onto, quietly convincing yourself it can be redeemed if you just protect it long enough? Which relationships still fasten you to an identity that is no longer yours? Which comforts have slipped around you like a leash? And where have you mistaken the glitter and “assurances” of Babylon for the favor of God?

The remnant will not be those who stay camouflaged and wait for rescue while living in daily agreement with the gears of the machine. They will be the ones willing to look foolish in the eyes of the world, because when the Shepherd called, they recognized His voice, rose without hesitation… and left everyting behind.

They will be the ones who crossed the river while others lingered on the shore, still weighing their options. They will be the mothers and fathers who tore up the contracts, wiped the devices, sold the houses, left the good jobs, and trained their children to breathe the air of freedom without a digital chain around their lives.

And when the great unveiling comes, the remnant will not meet it with fear or shock. Their eyes will carry the steady knowing of those who already chose their allegiance long before that hour. They will stand as ones who answered when they were called, who moved even when it cost them everything, and who yielded when every part of them wanted to cling to the false safety of the familiar.

My friend, if you truly desire to dwell in the shelter of the Most High in the days ahead, you must begin now to distance yourself and your family from what is crumbling. Let your spiritual muscles grow strong through movement, daily. Don’t shrink back from the big decisions or postpone the costly ones. Make them. Learn to free fall. Don’t dilly-dally in the extended abyss of “we’ll just wait a little longer to see what happens…”

This is your notice. It is happening.

Put space between your life and every structure that resists the rule of Love. Step out of every economy that fattens itself on the blood of the innocent. Lay down every habit that keeps you numb to your own spirit. Turn from every false voice that promises you can hold Eden in one hand and Empire in the other. Your safety will be found in your separation, and your peace in your willingness to let go.

Jesus is still saying, “Follow Me.”

What are you still holding onto that keeps you from walking where your heart knows you need to go?

Because in the days ahead, your true protection will rise in direct measure to your willingness to release what you once clung to as most important. The more you are willing to loosen your grip on the treasures and securities you were taught to prize, the more room there will be for the covering of Heaven to rest over you.

A supernatural way of life is calling you, if only you will walk away.
